REX ReviTools

REX ReviTools is an extension for the Autodesk Revit software platforms that offers a range of smart features that makes everyday work with Autodesk Revit software smoother and allow a user to get more done in less time.

 This add-on simplifies:

  • drawing generation of precast elements (viev definition and arrangement on a sheet)
  • schedule generation of precast elements (additional filters)
  • geometry dimensioning and verification (additional shared parameters)
  • generation of documentation in the DWG files

This tool works with Autodesk® Revit® Structure, Autodesk® Revit® Architecture, and Autodesk® Revit® MEP. The add-on is available in following languages: English and Polish.

   PRECAST ELEMENTS

  • View sheet generator

It allows for automatic generation of a set of views for a selected assembly and automatic arrangement of views on a sheet. A user can define several parameters: number of views, types of views, names, location of views on a sheet...

  • Align viewports centers horizontally

It aligns horizontally all selected views on a sheet.

  • Align viewports centers vertically

It aligns vertically all selected views on a sheet.

  • Include in schedules / Exclude from schedules

It adds an additional option (filter) for automatic schedule generation based on a user-defined criteria.
A user can add a special parameter (checkbox) to each individual element in an assembly that may be applied later as a filter in order to include (or not) this assembly in a schedule.

  • Compute volume

It computes the volume of selected individual elements in an assembly.

DIMENSIONNING

  • Column height

It creates an additional shared (height) parameter, that is not already predefined, and add it to the desired family category (columns). Then, height values can be automatically calculated for a selected group of columns.

  • Wall height

It creates an additional shared (height) parameter, that is not already predefined, and add it to the desired family category (walls). Then, height values can be automatically calculated for a selected group of walls.

  • Wall thickness

It creates an additional shared (thickness) parameter, that is not already predefined, and add it to the desired family category (walls). Then, thickness values can be automatically calculated for a selected group of walls.

  • Lintel/Sill elevation

It creates an additional shared (lintel/sill elevation) parameter, that is not already predefined, and add it to the desired family category (openings). Then, the parameter values can be automatically calculated for a selected group of openings.

  • Beam elevation

It creates an additional shared (beam elevation) parameter, that is not already predefined, and add it to the desired family category (beams). Then, the parameter values can be automatically calculated for a selected group of beams.

  • Slab elevation and thickness

It creates an additional shared (slab elevation and thickness) parameter, that is not already predefined, and add it to the desired family category (slabs). Then, the parameter values can be automatically calculated for a selected group of slabs.

  • Refresh

It updates values of parameters, that was defined with the ‘dimensioning’ commands,  after each geometry modification.

POSITIONNING

  • Edit position

It modifies the syntax of positions (in 'Mark' parameter) for selected elements.

DWG

  • Export sheets to DWG

It saves selected sheets of views in the DWG format. File names can be user-defined.
